Getting Started: Your First Foal
A practical first-session route from Home Pasture to a working ranch.

1. Start in Home Pasture
Look for the Lasso prompt in Home Pasture.

Read the objective across the top of the screen. In the reviewed recordings it starts with “Catch a wild foal in Home Pasture!” Equip the carrot-shaped tool in the hotbar and approach a foal until the Lasso prompt appears.
Use the prompt shown on your device. A desktop recording shows E for Lasso; the mobile recording shows a touch control. Follow your own interface when the input differs.
2. Finish the return trip
Follow the red arrows through the return route.

- Retry with a nearby foal and follow a familiar route.

§2. Finish the return trip#
After the catch, the objective changes to leading the foal back to your ranch. Red arrows mark the return route in the recordings. Follow them toward your assigned ranch and keep moving until the arrival registers.
The official instructions warn that the alpha can catch you. If the delivery fails, try a nearby foal again and use a shorter, familiar return route. A foal following you outside the ranch is still part of the delivery.
3. Follow the treadmill objective
Train on the ranch treadmill toward the next objective.

- The Speed counter increases while you train.

- Leave and approach the treadmill again if training has not started.

§3. Follow the treadmill objective#
Once the first foal is delivered, the objective points you toward the treadmill and the next zone. Go to the treadmill inside your ranch and train while watching the Speed counter.
One recording shows Wildflower Hills as the next target. Use the objective and progress bar displayed in your current server for the exact requirement. Train, check the gate, then attempt the next capture.
